Hillel Shabbat at Queens University – This is how we celebrate: Yoga followed by all you can eat Sushi!

Shabbat Morning Torah Yoga infuses the weekend with spirituality and with the strengthening and stretching of your body and soul. Our Hillel students, and members of the community come together and connect with a wellspring of Torah wisdom that grounds so many faiths.

Our Hillel students cherish the Yoga experience, but they also look forward to the all you can eat Sushi lunch that follows where they can connect with other students and procrastinate on doing their homework for a few hours. They cherish this monthly tradition, as well as our monthly Shabbat dinners and other social events.

The Shabbat Morning Torah Yoga program is open to yoga practitioners of all levels and to the broader community.

Shabbat Morning Torah Yoga is co-sponsored by the Greenspon Center, DICE (Diversity Inclusion and Community Engagement), Queens Chapel and Queens Student Life. It is generously funded by the Lenora Stein Community Creative Learning Grant.  Meditations are posted monthly at  www.stangreensponcenter.org.

Please join us for our next Shabbat Morning Torah Yoga program on Saturday, February 16 at 10:30 am at the Queens University Levine Center for Wellness.
