What is the role of theatre in community conversation, and in creating change?
Join us on November 6th at 2 pm to explore and discuss Three Bone Theatre’s production of Protective Custody PRISONER 34042 by Charles LaBorde.
The play is a stage adaptation of Dr. Susan Cernyak-Spatz’s memoir, of the same title. Susan survived the Holocaust And her time at the Auschwitz-Birkenau camp. The play brings up issues of the importance of survivor’s stories, especially in light of the dwindling survivor community. These issues are critical in light of the alarming rise of bigotry and antisemitism in this country.
We hope you will come and engage in a dialogue with us about this important story and enjoy some scenes from the play.
