Each summer, Centropa turns the great cities of Central Europe into classrooms for dedicated teachers (grades 6-12) interested in learning more about 20th century Jewish and European history, civics project, meeting international colleagues to partner with, and walking the streets of history.

Join up to 80 teachers from 17 countries to learn how to bring the world to your students as you make history come alive with engaging projects and free educational materials that will enrich your curriculum.

This PD opportunity is for teachers grades 6-12 in Social Studies, history and English Language Arts, and we also welcome art and photography teachers, Spanish teachers, civics, geography, technology, and film teachers who will be able to use our resources based on 1200 interviews with elderly Jews in 15 Central and Eastern European countries. You can find them all, at no cost, at www.centropa.org.
