The Listening Project is nearing the end of its two-year journey in community-based participatory research, and now it’s time to share what we’ve discovered—thanks to your input. You helped us shape the research questions and recommended key organizers from Charlotte’s past and present to interview. After conducting, transcribing, and anonymizing these interviews, we’ve developed a preliminary analysis. Now, we invite you to hear the results and collaborate with us in crafting the final conclusions.
Join researchers Lau Ciceron and Elizabeth Rogers as they present what we’ve learned and open the floor for discussion.
About the Presenters
Lau Ciceron: has been the driving force behind the Listening Project, envisioning the research from its inception. She is a published researcher with a passion for social policy, advocacy, and a strong background in both qualitative and quantitative research methods, including statistical analysis.
Elizabeth Rogers: is an experienced organizational change strategist specializing in diversity, equity, and inclusion. With a rich career in higher education, she has held roles at institutions like Vanderbilt University, Queens University, and currently Wofford College.
