The Greenspon Center delivers interactive, in-school programs that engage both students and teachers in shared learning experiences. Designed for grades 6–12, our content can be presented to multiple classes at once and is adaptable for public, private, charter, and homeschool settings. Our in-school programming is made possible by our generous donors, supporters, and grants.

Customized In-School Presentations

We create and deliver Holocaust and antisemitism education presentations based on the specific needs of your students and your curriculum.

Content

  • We can create presentations ranging from a general overview of the Holocaust to a specific concept, such as Holocaust resistance. We also offer presentations on Jewish American history, antisemitism, and/or Israel. Our content is deliverable to 5th -12th grade students and is paced to fit 45 to 90 minutes of instruction.

Student to Student Presentations

Groups of two or three students, representing different branches of Judaism, give presentations that share their personal narratives while also discussing a range of topics. This program is modeled off of the national organization, Be the Narrative.

Content

  • The presentations cover Jewish demographics, history, values, life cycle, Shabbat, dietary practices, the Hebrew language, Israel, antisemitism, and the Holocaust. The presentations are aimed at 5th -12th grade students and are paced to fit into 45 to 90 minutes of instruction.
