The Stan Greenspon Holocaust Education is a nonprofit organization based in Charlotte, North Carolina, dedicated to advancing education on the Holocaust, genocide, antisemitism, and Jewish identity.

Through education, the Stan Greenspon Center honors the history and stories of the Holocaust, deepens understanding of Jewish history and culture, and empowers individuals to confront antisemitism and hate in all forms.

The Stan Greenspon Center's Certification in Holocaust Pedagogy Program (CHP) provides intensive training on how to teach the Holocaust in secondary schools. Our ten-month program culminates with an on-ground learning experience in Poland.

We offer in-school programs for grades 6–12. Flexible and adaptable for all school types, sessions are customized to your needs and include Holocaust history, Jewish identity,  Jewish American history, antisemitism, and Israel education.

Our Center is dedicated to providing high-quality professional development. We offer training for middle and high school Holocaust educators and collaborate with schools to deliver comprehensive professional development focused on antisemitism education and Jewish inclusion for administrators, counselors, and curriculum specialists.

Our Education team has prepared an educator toolkit for Holocaust teachers of all levels. In addition to sharing pedagogical and instructional resources, the Greenspon Center has developed a full Holocaust elective curriculum, intended for NC secondary schools.

Each January, the Stan Greenspon Center hosts a community International Holocaust Remembrance Day event– an opportunity to educate, reflect, and commemorate. Past events have included speakers such as Geddy Lee of Rush, along with educational outreach such as the Seeing Auschwitz exhibit. Event details are often released by November of each year.
